East Coast USA Kitesurfing Trip

The last few days in California brought us more of the same, smallish waves and the wind getting even lighter. To keep entertained, kitesurfers Reo Stevens and Ian Alldredge decided to customize their kiteboards with homemade spray jobs.
We packed up on Saturday and headed to Santa Barbara airport, a 20-minute flight to LAX and then a departure to Boston for the start of the road-trip over East. We’ll be hitting kitesurfing spots from Boston to Cape Hatteras.
We arrived at 6.30am after about 2 hrs sleep and after a phone call waking Steen and Marc up, they met us at the airport and we loaded up the CORE road trip van.
After some coffee and forecast checks, we found out we had a while until it was due to be windy, so we went to Walmart for supplies.
We got paint but failed on finding ‘spinner’ hubcaps!
Today we are pimping our ride! More news on the CORE Van paint job soon.
