When did you start kitesurf and what inspired you to do such a “different" sport?

I started kiteboarding in the beginning of 2003, so I’m almost riding for six years now. I was windsurfing on one of my home spots when a kiteboarder jumped over me, from that moment I knew I want to learn kiteboarding. That’s how it all started…

What is kiteboarding for you? Work, amusement , or way of life?

It is all! I don’t really see it as work, only when I’m standing to long in the water teaching but that doesn’t happen that often anymore. Every time I start my kite it gives me a good feeling, the control over the power in the kite is such a nice feeling.
