Gator Prospect mini review
Sebastian Bubmann comments his first ride on his new Gator Prospect:
Hey, what’s up?! 4 days ago a big carton - box from Kitejunkie arrived and in it there was my brand new GATOR Prospect, the board I’ve been waiting for!! And I tell you what … the waiting was totally worth it.
I’ve tried a couple of boards now. Mainly Liquid Force ones, since well, everybody does ride Liquid Force. I’ve also broken 2 of them. All of the boards I rode were in general a little shorter than my new one, and not that wide. I expected the board therefore to be a little slower and having a much bigger turning rade … that’s what I thought.
Then, after giving it the first try on the cable yesterday it was a totally different story. Of course the landings were hard in the beginning, since the surface hitting the water was much bigger, the board was absorbing more energy of the landing. It took me about 30 min or so and I felt nothing of it anymore …
