Prasonisi is a nice spot on Rhodes (Rodos) in Greece with offshore and onshore conditions, as well as waves and flat water!

Grey means you cannot kite, Orange is just ok, Green is perfect and Red is for pro's only. We combine windspeed and direction from the windfinder data for this. Besides the frontpage you will be listed as local on the spot Rhodes, Prasonisi .
Wind Statistics
We also have the windstatistics for a spot. Sometimes the data is not accurate due to Thermic wind which are not seen in weather models. If data is not accurate we will say so in the text.

2010 SEASON in RHODES ISLAND
Prasonissi is a small peninsula in summer, a small islet in winter, Prasonissi beach is most of all the surfers paradise, the place where everything is about the waves. Prasonissi is actually located on the last edge of the Rhodes Island, in its most Southern point, 95 km away from Rhodes Town, at the other end of the island.
The beach of Prasonissi shows you two faces – a big-waved and open-sea area of the beach to the right, and the secluded left one. The right side of the beach offers windsurf and kiteboarding equipment to rent, and even if you are a beginner, the waves of Prasonissi are much too tempting not to try your hand on windsurf or kiteboarding.
The 500 meters long strip connecting Prasonissi with Rhodes is sandy on both sides, offering facilities to relax after a full day of adrenaline, especially picturesque seafront tavernas, inviting with freshly captured grilled fish.
When visiting Prasonissi beach, you need to learn the sportive slang. You will find out that kiteboarding or windsurf can be practices at any weather, because of the wind, blowing different on the two beaches, while the whole Aegean Sea is completely calm – the wave one (with 1 to 4 meters height waves) and the flat one (with small waves, ideals for the beginners and for the free style. This is why Prasonissi beach waters area always crowded!

Dennis Beach Studios - admired Gennadi village is located in the southern part of Rhodes, on the sea shore. PRASONISSI spot both FLAT & WAVE!!! Village center can be reached within 5 min. walk, where you can find the necessary medical assistance, pharmacy, or mail. Live in double rooms with toilet, shower and kitchenette. WIFI certainly have.

* Transfers from and to airport, equipment transportation
* Tours, Scuba Diving, etc.
