Interview Bruno Sroka

You have been dominating in course racing this year. To what do you attribute your success?

I worked during the entire winter to test all the kites, and the best kite for me was a Crossbow kite. I also devloped the new board with Paolo Rista, to analyse the technical position, and to try to find a new one with more performance. If you want win the course racing you need to work lot, to analyse everything of what you can do to best on the water. Without work, you can not perform. It's just a lot of training and testing. To be the best of the race, all the rider need experience, year after year. For the past 5 years, we did a course race to France.




What is your training and equipment development process?

My training is physically hard during the first part of the year. Just before all races. During competitions, I just try to keep my best physical performance. To develop the board I work like a scientist. I analyse each point after each point. I need a long time but it's the best way for me. I test with GPS, another person, and with vidéo analyse.
